Thought I lost it

;DWhile that isn't surprising. I honestly thought I was losing my mind.

I got a phone call last week about having a candle party. Well, I haven't been to one in a while, so I figured the lady had the wrong number.

SHE CALLED BACK MONDAY :oASKING IF I GOT MY PACKET :oAnd she wanted to know if the guest list was done

I told her I must have lost the packet.......I didn't recall having one, BUT you never know.......she might have put it in the door and it got in the house without me knowing.

Anyhow, she tells me the time and date. And that it will be at the American legion hall ???Still trying to figure out where I knew her from.

Chalked it up to drinking too much and not remembering what I must have said

So she tells me she'll drop me off another at lunch time today. Well she came to the door and i said Come on in, don't mind the mess

She says, YOU DON"T LOOK FAMILIAR ???and pulls out the invitations that she made up.

Who is this person she had on the invites with my phone number. Apparently I didn't remember for a reason. I HAD NEVER MET THE LADY BEFORE IN MY LIFE ;D

She turned about 3 shades of red, and was apologizing. I told her I might as well do the party anyhow, since she traveled on her lunch break. ;D I felt bad she said that she swore that was the number, but I definately wasn't the face

Oh well, anyone want ot buy any candles ;D ;DI'm having a party apparently ;D ;D

Gotta love being a quick thinker, I need more candleholders any how, a few of mine have gotten broken.

I was even asking aroun dthe school and no one knew the name. I hope she calls her too. But that's why I said I would do the party, incase some one was trying to just save face......I hate when people do that.

My mom used ot do the home businness thing and would getso ticked about people giving wrong #'s and names.....just to get out of saying NO THANKS.

There's an easy way to do things, yes or no.

Of course Miss Impulsive me having had time to think about it, had to postpone it this morning.

Let's see, I have a mum sale to run this weekend, plus not even thinking, the 4th is a Tuesday. In October the parade committee meets every week to prepare for the big event.

So there was actually a good excuse to post pone it, with out sound like an idiot.

That's OK, I just remember I need to go to work a half hour earlier, since the director has a funeral to go to......glad I did or I'd be runnign around like a chicken with my head cut off looking for kids.

ANY IDEAS FOR RAINY DAY ACTIVITIES? I"M ALL EARS. And please don't say watch a movie, I hate that. That was done all summer. We'll probably do some painting if we have enough smocks......OH yup we do
