Processing Disorder? Anybody know anything about this? My Jake has resently been diagnosed with this and with Visual Processing Disorder and on top of all this he has to deal with ADHD. We are seeing a speech therapist and an audiology specialist and he will be wearing headphones at school in the fall to see if that helps. I am trying to research every avenue.

How funny is this.... My son, also Jake has ADHD and CAPD, just diagnosed. He's 8. The audiologist recommended Earobics. I'm going to try it. She also recommended the Lindamood Bell reading program. She says it REALLY works, but is outrageously expensive, like $12,000 for 4-6 months. Its very intensive, something like 2hrs after school. I'm wondering how you can put a kid through that, after a long school day in addition to regular hw, but I guess people do it. Anyone else out there to add something?
