 OK.. finally the final child got some drugs today, after being off 7 weeks  , now I need to hear feedback from others who have had thiers on CONCERTA.  Zach was put on 18mg of CONCERTA today , he has never been on this and his Adderal XR didnt work, nor did the Strattra  . He goes back in two weeks to see how he is doing, this is good timing since Saturday I have to drive and get Cassie from bible camp in Whitehorse BC  , looooooooooooong road trip for the boys. Good thing for drugs  , I would go nuts with Zach off drugs on the 13 hour  drive. Hmmm wonder if they make trailers with airholes for kids.. ;D j/k

Concerta works wounders for us, we needed to adjust the dose 3 times but once we hit the right dose its like a miracle.....
my DS needs it 7 days a week he gets rebounds on off days mood sings depression.....most kids dont but watever works .

Isn't that what the roof racks are for on cars. Lots of fresh air... Regarding the Concerta, it never had any real affect on our son. He is not hyper or anything, but it never helped him to focus. As with any long acting med, he got sick on it. Wish I could give a more uplifting report. Miles |

;D ;D ;D Miles.. so thats what the bungee cords on the roof racks are for.. KIDS... ok I am there .. only wish my truck had a roof rack  .. but I have a LARGE TRAILER HITCH I am taking notes for any reactions he might have. . had first dose today, so far he is fine and able to sit still.. wow I am amzed already.. he isnt acting all spazzed :-/out like usual |

We had almost instant good results with my son on concerta, but it still took them a bit to get the right dose. Good luck.

We had almost instant good results with my son on concerta, but it still took them a bit to get the right dose. Good luck. We had instant results too....the doctors usually start at the lowest dose and work up if needed....so keep that in mind. |

Cami started on Concerta this summer. She only took it on days she had swim practice but it seemed to be good and was instant. The real test comes next week when she returns to school. Stay tuned...

My ds has been on concerta for 1 and half year now, we did see the positive result´s right away, he did well with 18mg for a year and now he´s on 36, on schoolday´s only. So far so good. Good luck |

[glow=red,2,300]OMG yesterday was Zachs best day ever, I LOVE THIS DRUG ;D[/glow] Zach was a perfect lil gentleman yesterday, I am wondering who stole my child and replaced him with a clone. ;D I cant believe that little pill worked MIRACLES for him, I am so glad I pushed the doc for this new wonder drug for him. Now he can focus and not have his arms, legs, mouth and entire body moving all at the sametime. |
