Hi all! Well, after my DD was on Ritalin 10 MGs twice a day and it only lasting 3 hours MAX per dose, we decided we should try something new. The teachers were frustrated every afternoon cause the school administered her meds AFTER lunch so we really did not see it working in the afternoon. So we are trying Ritalin SR 20MGs once a day. Does anyone know how long this may last? We start the doses on Thursday when the meds come in.

It has been my past experience that Ritalin SR lasts about eight hours.

Thanks! Today was first day, but I did not get to see her - she was at daycare. Hopefully this weekend I will tell if it is working or not. Cross your fingers!
