Steven's social studies teacher gave them a major project. He had two days to do the final stage. He did the first part of it at school on the computer and put it on a floppy disc. Our computer doesn't handle floppy discs, but only cd's. Being a kid Steven put it off until the last moment and we didn't find this out until the night before when the Library was closed. Steven's teacher didn't accept this as a valid reason. Should I get my broom???
This is SOOOO frustrating!! .. 
I am feeling as confused by this as you must be !! ... and I just am not SURE whether this warrants a broom or not .... I will be interested to know what others say on this ... I have to confess I am asking the same question as you are!! 
I think the teacher should give Steven a partial grade on the project....and Steven himself needs to be held accountable too for waiting until the last minute to finish the project.
