:DI'm afraid by posting this I might jinx things but here goes anyway. My moster child from hell is gone!!! This is the best he has ever done. NEVER did this good on medication. Right now we are using natural alternatives. I have this report that I made to go with him to and from school. Well, 5 is the best and the last month he has almost always gotten 5's and at the least 4's. His behavior is normal, no fighting, argueing, whining. His concentration is soooooo much better. He gets his work done on time(and right). No more fighting to get work done. He just got his report card from school. All B's and one A. I know he can do better but I'm happy with that and he just started normaling out on his natural alt. Maybe next report card all A's?? I have also noticed that I am not so stressed out and now look forward to him coming home from school. Before I was scared of how he was acting or what had happened at school, or what hadn't happened at school. I just can't believe it. If this is a dream then DON'T wake me up.

HOOORRRAYYYY!!! Isn't it amazing the little pleasures we get over things like this that other mothers take for granted with their non-ADHD children? I hope you didn't jinx yourself, either, but it' sooo nice to hear someone positive once in awhile over the gains their children have made. How old is your child? Doesn't it make your heart lighter? I know it does mine, when my child had a good week. He's had 3 good ones out of the last 6. Hey, it used to be he had NONE! Congrats to you AND your child!! ;D

Oh I know how you feel to have your child doing well. I sure do remember the dread I would feel when it was time for him to come home from school,not knowing whether he had a good day or not.

He is now 81/2 going on 30!! I have to say that I never believed in natural alternatives but after all the meds. he has been on and nothing worked, I tried it because I thought it couldn't hurt. I also ran out of options med. wise and felt this was my last option. I now believe. I'm glad that meds. do work for some kids, but if they don't I highly recommend natural alternatives.

What exactly are you using and how?

Right now all he is on is an all natural multi-vitamin/mineral one daily at breakfast, vitamin E 200 I.U.once daily at breakfast, fish oil 180mg EPA and 120 DHA twice daily at breakfast and bedtime, DMAE 100mg. twice daily at breakfast and bedtime. Of course I don't let him have junk food, candy or pop. But this combo is working miracles for us so I'm not changing a thing.
