Thanks everyone !! ,.... Last night when I really got a chance to "chat" to him properly he said "Do you know Mum ... College was actually ok!" (Big Surprise!!) ...
"I knew lots of people already but I met others from ALL OVER THE PLACE ... I met people from Dover, Ashford, Canterbury and even Tenterden (which is MILES away)... I said "Well there you go ... and look how lucky you are ... you only have to travel 2.5 miles!) ... ;D
He also said "I didn't think it would be like that...." I said "How did you think it would be?" ... so he said "I thought it would be more like school" ... (what he cannot get over is that he no longer has to wear a uniform - he can wear what he likes. He calls his tutors by their FIRST names and not Mr. or Mrs X as in school.... he can go OUT of the grounds for lunch ... etc) Basically as I said to him ... "you will be treated like an adult just as long as you behave like one.... "
Anyway.. Oh... I just soooo hope he enjoys it! ...
