I thought we should start a thread to remind everyone to update the avatar accounts... mine needs to be done at least every 30 days. So, if we "BUMP" this thread on the 15th and 30th of every month, hopefully none of us will lose our awesome (and sometimes SNOWY) avatars!

:DGood idea, now who's going to remember to bump it ;D I went through a free service that deletes the avatars every 30 days, but that just means I can change mine  I'll find the host some where, thought I had it, well, when I find the site, I'll post it, if I remember. If not, I just typed avatars intoteh search engine and one popped up with a bunch of different ones. They were free, and it provided a link to the host itself. That host doesn't charge, but like i said, every 30 days it will get deleted. The advantage is that I didn't have to sign up for the hosting, only the use of the avatars |

My ripway account is obviously been expired for a long time... I tried to resign up, and it says only one account per household... Nice huh??! Anyone know of another free hosting site? I promise I wont tell linda who told me about it, cause as soon as I sign up you can BET I will put my snow back up first thing!! ;D ;D ;D If anyone fears linda you can pm it to me also!! ;D ;D ;D  cat |

cat... I will GLADLY host your SNOW if you want to put it on my ripway account. My SNOWFLAKE is the only avatar I have, so there is plenty of space. I'll send you the password if you want to share!

I use www.villagephotos.com which is an alternative site to Ripway ... and I think they do a free hosting account ... I have a paid-for account (but its literally only a few pounds a month!) ... without it all our smilies and backgrounds would disappear !! ;D and there is absolutely MASSES of room on that account .... Believe it or not with hosting the backgrounds and the smilies and avatars and photos I am only using about 2% of my given space!!!!! ..... SOOO if anyone wants to send me an avatar, photo etc. please just email them ... |
