Two weeks ago the motor in our pickup truck went kaput, yesterday my car blew a tire, and last night my husband went into the hospital. He felt like he was having a heart attack. They could not find anything wrong with him, so kept him over night. He just called a few hours ago, and they are keeping him overnite again for more tests. They said somthing about his electrolites being too high, and his heart working too hard. I dont know really what that means, and I am 1 1/2 hours away from him. He was on a run in the truck, so I cant just drive to him. My car is not reliable enough. It gets me to work and the store, but thats about it. I am taking a few minutes to be on here, then I have to go to Dans football game. The kids dont know yet that dad has to stay in the hospital another nite. If I find out anything else I will let you all know.

It is terrible to have everything fall apart at the same time. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. Miles

vick, I will say a prayer for you and your hubby. and remember, they say bad things come in threes so you should be ok now. From what I remember about electrolytes it is actually potasiam and it can control the beating of the heart....correct me if I'm wrong on this nurse Marja. My mom has always had trouble with low electrolytes. Anyway, if he is already in the hospital they are monitoring it and doing the needed things to lower it and I'm sure he'll be fine. I know it's got to be hard on you not to be able to get to him though. Again, I'll be praying that everything gets better.
Take care of yourself too during all this...stress can be a real bummer on health as well!
I send you ((((((((hugs))))))))!

Well they sent him home for the weekend. The stress test they were going to do yesterday had to wait untill monday because the machine was broken. So far they said he needs to diet because his colestrol (sp?) is too high. We will know more after monday, so he is out of work untill tuesday at least.
