So...I'm still in Lubbock, still looking for a "real" job. I just got "high-speed" dial-up (and am thinking I don't believe them).
Somehow or another I've ended up with a boyfriend (see what happens when I'm not on the internet all the time? I get in trouble ;D ). He was planning to move soon and hasn't decided where, so there's a good chance he'll come with me whenever I move.
I still haven't gotten through all the crap I have or gotten rid of much, although I have taken 2 boxes of books to the used book store. I seem to be collecting cookbooks at the moment.
I still haven't quite figured out the whole financial thing and am working on not being broke all the time.
Other than that, that's about it.
So, anything exciting happen while I was gone?

Yeah, I still haven't told my parents I have a boyfriend...and he was helping me pack boxes the night before they showed up to move me. Heheh.

I was collecting cookbooks before I had the boyfriend. And I can cook just fine, as long as I don't wander off and start doing something else. I wish my oven worked well enough to bake in though.  |
