I got my daughter's report card today, and it was better than I expected. However, there is a note at the bottom that says she is scheduled for an IAT test in November. Does anyone know what this is??? I've looked it up on the internet, but can't find anything that I think is relevant to her schooling?? If anyone has any idea what an IAT test is, please let me know.

Hey Beckie- Let us know when you find out what this test involves. I have never heard of it. I would be very interested to know what you learn. Thanks! ;D

It's not a test at all, thankfully! The wording of the teacher was bad, and made it sound like she would be having another hearing test and an IAT test. Instead, IAT stands for the group that meets to discuss ways to help a child with special needs via modifications, etc. (Intervention Assitant Team, I think?) At any rate, I am very relieved. She will likely have some tests for Math LD's and I'm thinking of a few others to ask them about as well.
