I just wanted everyone to know that I am also having surgury next week on my ear. If all goes according to plan I should be able to come home that night, with a few new decorative drains in my head.  I'm gonna be the cutest thing around!! But please think of me on Monday, or say a little prayer if you have time. It isn't major at this point, but it possibly could be so just keep me in mind please. Thanks....Becky BTW, On the bright side, my mom is actually taking my kids overnight!! That alone may be reason to go in!! |

Good luck with the surgery Becky.I will be thinking about you.I know they say it is not major but it can still be scary.Are they putting you to sleep?My son is having surgery on both of his eyes next month and my father is having surgery on his lip because he has lip cancer.They say they both are minor surgeries but I am scared like you are.At least you will get a break from the kids for a night.lol.Let us know how you do.

Thanks alot guys. They are not going to put me completely out. They are going to put me asleep with IV sedation and freeze my neck and head. (that'll be a weird feeling) That way if it is more than what they thought they can put me out in less than 30 seconds if they would have to. I really hate being put completely under so I am glad that they don't have to do that. I always get so darn sick.  |

Becky...tell your Doctor you get sick afterwards and they can give you something to counteract it..
