near death expeience , guardian angels

Has anyone read "Embraced by the Light" by Betty J Eadie? It's about her near death experience. I read it about 9 years ago.
My father-in-law waws clinically dead for about a minute and he said he saw the tunnel of light and his relatives that had already died. I think it was his granfather or father that told him he had to go back because it wasn't his time yet.

No, I haven't read that book but I've read a lot of books like it. In fact, (and I know this will sound strange) but when my Nanna was dying of cancer I gave her a book about the other side to read. Towards the end she saw people around her-I think people are around us all the time-we are just at a denser level of being because we are in body. Well, she looked at me strange when I gave her the book, but I think it really helped her to accept what was going on. I've read that If you ask angels to surround you they will. I believe in Guardian angels totally. They are the one who keep us safe and help us to make good decisions.
