Anneke  We had those when we were children, (without egg´s I think) we called them "poor knight´s" add some cream on top of it and it´s delisious  Marja |

 Sorry about the velveeta Anne! I don't know how I would cook without it.  I use it in a lot of stuff. Maybe my next recipe I post will have ingredients you can get.

I had to share this recipe. It's my fav cake.
Baby Food Cake
2 C. flour
2 C. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 C. oil
3 eggs
2 small jars plum baby food
Mix and put in one bundt pan or two loaf pans. Bake at 325 for about an hour.

AnneM, The Velveeta thing shocked me! It is one of the staples I buy around my house, along with milk and eggs. It makes the best maccaroni and cheese ever! Ooooh, and grilled cheese sandwiches, too. YUM! Guess I know what's for supper tonight! ; |

Velveeta... you have to civilaze me a little with this one  We have some, I believe it´s "gottage cheese" is it somewhere near What I have in mind, is kind a smelted cheese that goes nicely on soap´s and almost everything, I use it on top of vegie´s when we do bbq. Marja |

Velveeta is not cottage cheese.
It's just this big hunk of processed cheese that melts all smooth and creamy.
LOL - I sound like the commercial! ;D
An American Staple:
1/2 lb Velveeta
1 can Rotel (spicy diced tomatos) or any salsa
Heat in microwave until melted
Makes the best cheese dip, ever! You eat it with corn tortilla chips. My family also likes to dip celery in it!
