I'm sorry, when i typed duvet, i meant duvet cover....LOL...I think that what we call comforter in the U.S, you call Duvet in the U.K. It is the same thing but different names....LOL

OK, AS I AM FINDING OUT I AM A HICK....AND NOT A FRENCH HICK AT THAT
I'LL TAKE MY DU-VIT AND MY COMFORTOR AND THROUGH THEM ALL UP IN THE SPARE ROOM AND WAIT FOR COLD WEATHER TO COME BACK.
MAYBE BY THEN I'LL KNOW HOW TO PRONOUNCE THINGS. BY THE WAY..DO YOU SAY WATER OR WUDDER

Hey Brocksmom and WE call them a 'dummy' !! ... ;D To get the quote in a box hit the "quote" button on the post you want to quote... which is found at the top of each reply... This will automatically bring up a box for you to reply in ... plus the quote you want ... Just add your reply underneath it ... Not sure if I explained that very well !! ... Let us know if you need further clarification!

In the UK we pronounce it WORter !! In the US I would say you pronounce it "Wahh..ter" ... (Am I close? ... ;D) ...

Depending on who I am talking to depends on how I way it... If I am speaking formally with the kids at work it's "Water" if it's informal, I was wudder.....ok, both
but I do not do "warsh" in a "warshing machine" ;D Kaiti

Brocksmom, don't feel bad, if you look at any of my posts, I haven't used the quote boxes either. I finally figured out how to do color, not color and moving, just color or moving..... To the non-technos I say When are we ever gonna learn Kaiti

Maybe someone can help us both out on that one?? ... and as for the WARshing !! ... LOL !! ... Hey but I do know that in the US you say dAnce (A sounding like in "And") whereas we say "dARNce" ... same goes for bath, prance, Sandra etc.... (but no we DON'T say RomARNce !! ... to its not for ALL words!! ;D ;D
