I know I'm mostly a lurker, but it's been fun seeing everyone's photos, so I here ya go... it's of my son rowing a boat this summer. But just in case the picture didn't work, here's a link to my flickr page where it can be found, along with some other photos. www.flickr.com/photos/daisydag/

Minna, that is a beautiful lake, your son seems to be enjoying the boat. I had to go through your flickr link. So I was looking at the puppies, are they a pointer or setter? They are adorable. My kids want them ;D

Kaiti & Christy, sorry that the picture didn't show up. I don't know what I did wrong. The dogs are pointers. My parents kept one of them, so they now own three pointers. My father got his first pointer in 1969, and I don't think he'll ever try another breed. Pointers are excellent bird dogs as well as great companion dogs. The lake is where my family has a summer house (or more like a cottage). I spent all my summers there as a kid, and practially lived in the water!

Something about being all snug inside with a fire while the ground is snow covered outside sounds so comforting and inviting to me! I think I was born in the wrong place! lol
