What is your style......

I'm a basic black addict - my kids tease me about it. I just am not fashionably inclined, and once I find a style or outfit that works, I stick to it. I've been known to buy two of the exact same pairs of shoes or sweater or, most recently, capri pants. (Hey, they were on sale for $4.99 and they fit! AND they weren't even black.)

I do wear jeans at home, but when I go out, I throw on a blazer - and it's usually black!

As for makeup, I don't go for the works, but I don't get out of the car without foundation and lipstick. Wouldn't want to scare the neighbors.

I wear sweats from Sept. to May, although I "dress up" when I leave the house to a pair of baggy jeans. T shirts and sweat shirts. I have one nice sweater that keeps showing up in pictures any time I go "out".

Summer time I stay in a swim suit... pull shorts and a t shirt on if I have to go out.

I hate to shave my legs, so I prefer the sweats even in the summer.

When I work now... he he he ... I wear ski pants and a winter parka (ski patrol) and a helmet to hide my hair. And of course a mask to keep my cheeks warm. Goggle to cover my eyes... no one can recognize me... I get called Mr. Ski Patrol a lot... you can't tell through all the layers of sweats, etc.

I do have a very beautiful picture of me once when I had me hair in an up do and makeup on and actually wearing a dress ( the only one I own besides my own wedding dress). Maybe I will send it to Ralph to see if he can post it somewhere for y'all!

Oh yes Please share the picture!! ... Come on everyone what about some pictures to support our descriptions?? ... (I say that and then realise I don't think I HAVE a 'recent' picture! ... but might rustle up "something" from not tooo long ago!! ) ...

How about ear rings? I HAVE to wear them everyday...I love them...the bigger the better ;)I particularly like turquoise,and have quite a collection.My husband knows this, but guess what he buys me.....diamonds!!!!

Actually, the only jewelry I ever wear are tiny gold hoop earrings, my wedding bands, and an interesting and beautiful pin from Hard Rock Cafe Beirut. Goes nicely with my black blazer, and might smarten up Rosie's trash bag.

Sweats are a must in the winter. Unless I'm going out then like tridlette I throw on a pair of baggy jeans. I wear solid color tees. No prints. In the summer I have to have my shorts. Cotton around the house and jean shorts when I leave. Tennies when I go out. Houseshoes around the house. Would love to go barefoot around the house but would step on something and I am very tenderfooted. I own one dress besides my wedding dress and just bought it last summer at a garage sale. I am queen of the thrift stores. Practically everything we own (clothes) comes from a garage sale or thrift store. I just hate to pay the high price for the kids when they outgrow it in a few months. I used to have hair down to my bottom but recently cut it off. It's now almost shoulder length and I haven't stopped crying yet. I donated it to the locks of love though so it went for a good cause. I keep my hair pulled back in a barrette. Never wear it down. I never wear makeup. Nothing. Not even lipgloss. I have probably scared more people than could be counted. As far as jewelry. I wear a few rings. Nothing else. I'm allergic to everything but gold.

Guess I'm probably about as casual as they come.

Well, I looked a lot better before I had my ds
I adore him, but stress adds on the years.

I am tall with short, feathery dark brown hair. It used to be very long most of my life, until the last few years. I have green eyes and I like to walk in the rain...
(oops, I thought I was writing a personal ad!! )

My style is comfortable, can't wear jeans to work. I go with long loose dresses with a blazer for work, with sandals or summery shoes (remember it's always summer in Miami )

Gotta have the eye makeup too, just liner and mascara. I never do a good job with eye shadow. Also gotta have lipstick as my lips are sooo pale without it.

If everyone here admits what they look like, I can at least give everyone the peace of mind that I don't like spending money either.

I have both ears pierced 5 times, and NO the doctor didn't look at me funny when I had the kids, (like mom siad they would )
