To all of you in the Northeast dealing with this EXTREME cold and subzero temperatures, I send you warmth, the feeling of sunlight on your face  , and best wishes for the coming days! I know I have been one to post about wanting cold and snow, but this kind goes too far. I mean I saw that in somplaces they are expecting as low as 60-70 below!  I will pray for you all that this will end soon and until then your heat and electricity to keep it going can keep up! Bundle up up there, and take care! Here in Philadelphia it is quite chilly, but for my family and friends back in Massachusetts and Vermont things are down right COLD. I, too, pray that all of you in the clench of cold stay warm.
And you football fans... stay bundled up. The Patriots and the Eagles for the Superbowl will make a great game if the players don't freeze solid first!

I saw on the news this morning where a waterfall had frozen and I just couldn't believe it. It's been gray and foggy and yucky here in Central CA., but it hasn't gotten much colder than 30 degrees overnight. Get out the long johns and bundle up!

Keep sending that warmth, the pipes froze to our hopper and washer. Not the outflow, just the inflow, it should be a little warmer I think, and I just dumped some hot water in the toilet tank, so far so good.
Let me go check the washer now.......YIPPEEEEEE
WASHER IS FILLING UP, TOILET IS FLUSHING GOOD!!!

I also hope everyone stays warm, but tridlette, I refuse to be excited about the Eagles! Maybe you forgot I am from Wisconsin. The Packers loss is still stinging here.  Naturally, I am going to have to root for the Partiots or the Colts. I have not decided who I like best yet. The are tied for my 2 favrote teams after the Packers. |

Well, as I knew, the Patriots rule! And I am disappointed that the Eagles didn't make it in, but that is because I wanted the satisfaction of watching my beloved Patriots beat the Eagle for the THIRD time this season. (sorry kaiti, but we won the pre-season game opener of the Linc too!)
My boys are divided, the younger two are waiting anxiously by the door for Gram's package with their Patriot jerseys, and the oldest is still wearing his Eagles jersey. He thinks if he takes it off it will admit defeat!
GO PATRIOTS~ sorry to the E A G L E S ~ but the Eagle fans need a lesson in treating others with respect! I like the team, but I have little respect for the obnoxious fans (not all fans are hard core rotten, but if you follow Philadelphia sports, you know what I mean.
Glad that the weather is improving anyway!

My question is, how the heck did we actually get snow that stuck around for a whole day?
At least the roads didn't freeze over. Last time that happened, they finally told people to stop calling 911 unless someone was injured - just exchange info and be on your way.

I admit defeet are at debottom of debody. ;D I'm usually not obnoxius, but my husband got me started, and it just sorta flowed here. I'm sorry  But there's always next year. I'm not going to dwell on past defeats. Still haven't figured who I want to pull for. I'll pull for whoever isn't the favorite. Gotta go for the underdog. Kaiti |

I am glad that the Patriots won, but I also liked the Colts so that game was a win win for me wither way.
I didn't care too much about the Eagles and Titans game b/c I really don't follow either team.
I still am going to root for the P A C K E R S, I'll start early for next year!!!!
