This is a hard one!
Back in high school (1-9-8-0, class of '80, go, go, go!) I liked Foreigner, Kansas, Little River Band, Eagles, stuff like that. Now, I like all of the above, plus Tracy Chapman, Garth Brooks, I guess a little bit of everything with the exception of rap. If I want to hear mad people screaming, I'll go pick a fight with someone.

I gotta get this one out. A guy I grew up with has a Band. They are called Casual Gypsies. They do a few covers at shows, but their original stuff if AWESOME.
They sound like a mix of John Mellancamp(hottie), Bruce Sringsteen(Jersey Boy), Dave Matthews(not too bad) and there's one more, I can't think of it, crap oh well, brain fart. They sound pretty good though, harmonica and a few other novel items that they play with are great.
And if I find a tape player that works, I love singing along with Amy Grant's Collection. Kaiti

I like anything with words.
Late 80's and early 90's are my favroite, Cher rules, especially her early stuff.
I love the Dixie Chix, but that is b/c I won a karoke contest singing their songs, Good Bye Earl and Traveling Solider.
Litlbaa, when in the right mood I like mad people screaming at me so I can scream back w/o the guilt!
Favroite of all time is Janis Joplin.
And somehow, Eminem, Kid Rock, and Limp Bizkit are starting to grow on me.

Well, being a teen of the 80's, I have to say my faves all are from that era. I can't pinpoint just one, but there's Journey, Foreigner, Bon Jovi, and of course, Def Leppard. Then I have my Southern Rock faves: Lynyrd Skynyrd and 38 Special. As far as today's music goes, I like 3 Doors Down, Matchbox 20, Creed, Nickelback, and the songs by Staind that don't contain ugly words.
