I just went in there and saw you (Danielsmom) also in the room ... I tried to write something to let you know I was also there and it wouldn't let me ... I mean I couldn't even type ONE letter!! ...

I have been there sometime´s, couple of time´s there were other´s and it worked ok. One´s I couldn´t type even one letter, so mayby it´s all about luck marja |

I spend most of my time on this site while I'm at work, and being a school district computer, we are restricted from chat rooms.

One´s I couldn´t type even one letter, so mayby it´s all about luck marja Its interesting that Marja and I had EXACTLY the same problem ... it seemed like it "seized up" once you got in there ... making us literally "speechless"  ... I see that the chatroom is run by bravo.net which appears to be independent from proboards .... Will have to ask Dad2Brooke about this one! P.S. and I was sooo happy to see you there Danielsmom!! ... Just wishing I could have spoken to you!! |

I just tried to connect from work, but the dreaded firewall stopped me. I will try again tonight around 9pm eastern time.
Maybe, it will work. I have had problems like what was mentioned before. When it happened to me in the middle of chatting, I just opened it again and all was well.
So, try closing the window, and going in again, and see if that helps.

I've been able to chat when I get a chance to visit. I've never tried from behind a corporate firewall though. Might make a difference!

Well, on Mon-Thurs night I have class so I cant chat at all those nights so I try for the morning/afternoons. Almost always if I'm on this site and you see my name then I also have the chat window open to so check it out sometime. Would love to chat with you all.

I wonder if I may have stumbled on the not being able to type problem in the chat room...
When you go in there, you have to keep the window open that you signed in on, along with the chat window... I shut the sign in window off and it logged me out, yet I could still see the room... Just a thought!
BTW a couple people are in there NOW!!

At the chat room, you type in the single white row on the bottom of the page and then press return. Your comment(s) show up on the screen above. I was just there by myself and was surprised that it posted what I had written -- obviously, there is no editing.
