intresting day ....

Just thought i would share my day with you all .. was quite funny in its own way ...

Daughter comes home from school and DH says to her .. lets make cookies... they proceed to make 4 batch of cookies for no particular reason...

DH .. goes in basement to the workshop.. decides he wants to fix some electrical box down there .. cuts power to house... ..

Mind you .. the cookies where in the oven... forgets to turn breakers back on .. and says ... umm I am hungry .. i am gonna order a pizza .. asks me to go pick it up .. but orders the pizza at a shop 30 min away during rush hour..

so I go get pizza.. while comming home 1 hr later .. a lady backed into my car at a red light trying to Squeeze into a parralell parking spot.. so i call DH and say i gonna be a lil longer..

so DH take DD over to neighbors because he said the house is getting cold for some reason and the wife got in accident he gonna come meet me..

I am on my way home .. not knowing he is on his way to meet me.. before he left house though .. he lights up about a million candles to try and warm the house because he couldn't think of why it was gettign so cold..

i get home to find the house is freezing.... candles lite that are not attended to .. half- baked cookies exploding in my oven because they were made to big and dripping over the side of pan .. and i find out from the neighbors that he was just comming to get his pizza because he was so hungry and it was taking me so long to get back home in rush hour and file an accident report ;(

so he was gonna heat up the pizza outside over the fire pit because the oven in the house was not working for some reason...

Welcome to the world of ADHD in my home..

Turned breaker box back on.. and saved the cookies.. heated up dinner.. and my husband still doesn't understand .. what happened.. LOL

One year our electricity kept going out on Christmas day. Oddly enough, it was on on the other side of the street. So Dad carried the turkey that had been in the oven to a friend's house on the other side of the street. A bit later, the electricity came back on. We heated the oven up again, and Dad went back over and carried it back. Then the electricity went out again. I think we finally decided to just leave the durn thing over there until it was done.
