I went grocery shopping yesterday with Mikey and Tara. When we got home Tara asked to play solitaire ont eh computer. I told her she had to help get the groceries out of the bag, then she could play. So we got everything unloaded and I was putting everything away. When it came time to take up the shampoo and conditioner, I asked Tara to take it up when she got done that game, and I left it on the step for her. She usually whines thta she wants to finish the game, so no biggy. I was picking my battles. To my surprise, she jumps up and says, "Well, I might as well do it now, I don't have a very good hand anyway". So she gets up and heads up the stairs to put the stuff away. I then here her coming back down the stairs. IT WOULD HELP IF II TOOK THE BAG WITH ME HUH MOM. I don't know where she gets it from. Must be her father

Ummm...
Is it not normal to leave a bag at the bottom of the stairs and to have to come back and get it or to leave badge, phone, sunglasses, LUNCH (sitting on counter) at home? What about discovering that you left your house keys in the lock on the outside of the door all night long?
I thought it was completely normal to have to do everything twice. Next you'll tell me that accidentally breaking every single crystal glass in my new set over a year's period of time is some kind of indication also. Sure, go ahead and just try to convince me that one of my most commonly uses phrases in a conversation ("Oh shoot, I just lot my point") is some kind of dead giveaway.
And, anyway, just because at this very moment I am letting dishes "soak" in the sink while I sneak over to read the boards and take 4 times as long to do this as any productive effort on things that are stacking up and over my ears, is NOT a problem. I have it under control!
;D

Buttercup, it is perfectly fine to let the dishes soak. We don't want to scratch them with some abrasive cleaner do we? I let my dishes air dry, it's more sanitary then wiping them dry with a towel. ;D
Do you know how many germs towels have anyways ;D

You mean it is not normal to let the dishes soak (for hours maybe?) while I check out the boards??? LOL
Definitely let dishes air dry--unless you want to torture the kids and make them dry them and put away LOL
geez--now I am wondering does DS get it from me haha

Had to bump this up. Tara is so funny sometimes. Just when I think I have her figured out, she throws a kink in it. For the past few months, when she messes up something instead of saying OH CRAP, I told her that wasn't nice. ::)She says OH TARTER SAUCE WHAT IS THE DEAL ???Granted I'm glad she isn't cussing, but for heaven's sake, why bring condimints into the crowd One I was taught by a HS teacher when I slipped one say and said a certain word. Sugar Honey Iced Tea ;D

For the past few months, when she messes up something instead of saying OH CRAP, I told her that wasn't nice. ::)She says OH TARTER SAUCE that's a quote from spongebob squarepants! whenever sponge, patrick and gang are angry they say, "Oh tartar sauce!!" Another favorite that they say is "that's a load of barnacles!!!" ;D
