:)Trid already knows this, if she remembers ;D
Yesterday Mike was trying to start the lawn mower. Well, just like everything else not working around here, it was out of gas.
So I looked at Mikey and said, "Hey Mikey, run inside and grab a pair of scissors to cut the grass with"
He says: OK
Mike about lost it when Mikey came back out and asked where he was to start ;D ;D ;DThen asked how low we wanted it.
As I was sitting out there waiting for him to protest, it took about 10 minutes for him to ask "WHY DOESN"T DADDY HAVE TO DO THIS?" ;D ;D
Mike told me I was mean ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

That reminds me, I should have Nate cook dinner tonight. Trimming the lawn is too funny. I did the exact same thing with Nate a couple of years ago when the mower siezed up (Forgot to change the oil for ohhhhhh 5 years) My bad. So anyway, Nate grabs the clippers and goes for half an hour. I was out there too, pulling weeds and stuff. Then he comes to me and says 'Dad, our neighbor has two mowers, go get one of those.' Miles

Well, if your lawn is OK, have him/her go to the neighbors ;D ;D
My neighbor is NOT the outdoorsy type, so the beautiful rose bushes are over grown and some non-blooming mums are taking over my front flower bed.
I just hope he can't see me type this because I am within nib nose distance if he wanted to look out his window into mine ;D ;D ;D

That is funny Kaiti...I can't believe how gullible our kids can be sometimes I know darn well if I asked Jacob to get the scissors to cut the grass he would have used the scissors for anything BUT THE GRASS ;D ;D ;D

Well I have a new idea for the boys tonight Dh went out last night to start the mower and pulled the pull string right out of it. He has already fixed it a few times and there is no fixin it now ;D ;D ;D. When Levi gets home from a friends house I am going to give him the shears and tell him to go to work I'll proably get the "yea right" response as well but I will be real serious and tell him it needs to be done~~~then I will laugh my behind off ;D ;D ;D Riley wants to go get the new Madden football game maybe this could be a bribe too no I don't think he will go for it ;D ;D

;D ;D ;DThat's the key, don't laugh when you say it ;D ;D ;D
That's what got Mike. His Dad used to say things with a drop dead look of seriousness and my MIL would have a fit ;D ;D ;D

I told him since the grass was real thick in the middle of the yard I needed him to cut it with the shears~~at first he was looking at me with his mouth open, then I started laughing and he knew ;D ;D ;D Darn I wish I didn't wear my emotions on my sleeve (of face hahahaha)
