I am smiling at the differences in our temperatures!! ... and the way we feel about them! ... Personally I hate (in EQUAL proportions) being either too hot or too cold! ... but I guess if I really HAD to make a choice (and assuming there was no such thing as air conditioning or central heating) it would be a preference to being cold ... because you can always add more layers... but there are only so many you can take off!! ;D

Every time I think of snow I think of Mike's friend that got his shoe stuck in the snowback in front o four apartment when we lived in Carney's Point ;DPoor Guy. Bring on the SNOW, I got 4 wheel drive now, I can drop it out and play in the parking lot 8-)or ingage it and play at the old ski lodge Man, now I want it to snow, and we probably won't get it

Snow is a rare happening down here. Very rare, and when it does, the entire town shuts down. They close most businesses, schools, etc. It always winds up being a day off for us. I'd love to see some this year!!

Yeah, it's awesome, but quite comical too! People rush to the stores like there scared to death! It's snow people, not nuclear waste!! As long as you've got a little wood for the fireplace, you'll be fine! Ice storms are a different story....

That reminds me, we had a boy move here from Texas. It started to flurry and he asked when they were going to close school down Um, needs to at least stick to the ground first

We don't get too many ice storms, bad enough the County Road department forgets about Alloway when it just snows. Might as well have been an ice storm

Well, we're just not equipped for it here, that's all. Noone here has snow tires, no need for them. Alot of the schools in the city district are old and their heaters can't keep up. Those two reasons are why they close the schools. Didn't you say your son was in Tennessee now?
