Greek Easter is on on may 1st then DH's family will cook lamb on a stick the good old fashion way.... ;D ;D ;D ;D You made me think of the scene from My Big Fat Greek Wedding where she takes Ian to meet the family and they have a lamb roasting in the front yard. I LOVE that movie! Hope your Easter on May 1 is a good one! As far as bbq in the garage.... we've done that a time or two when it's been raining. It's truly Spring here for us (we hit the 80's yesterday) so we are ready for our bbqs.

I've always wanted to learn how to make scones.. what IS the difference in how we do our tea? I have always wandered. Well I cannot speak for the whole of the US .. but when I was in the US and asked for tea ... the water was put into the microwave to heat through ... meaning that the tea would never ever ever brew properly !! LOL! ... (I am sure that isn't what most do though!!) ;D ;D ;D To make what the English would consider a cup of tea you would use a teap*o*t.... Boil the water and then put a little into the teap*o*t.... swish it around ... and then empty it ... Then add the tea (one teaspoon per cup and one for the p*o*t) and then add the boiling water .... Leave it for around 5 minutes ... and then serve.... adding milk and sugar to taste ..... Is that how you would make your tea or are there any differences there? PS the filter didn't allow me to spell tea*p*o*t properly !! ;D ;D ;D ;D

I can't speak for the whole US either, but here, in the Southeas, tea has to be cold and sweet. I boil my water, then add the teabags. Let it seep just a little while then pour it in my te pitcher. Add a cup of sugar, then pour into a glass of ice.
