HELP! My in-laws are on the road, will be here 4-5 p.m. That is 6-7 hours from now! MY HOUSE IS A MESS, MY MIND IS A MESS, and I have a full day of school to teach! I am making a list, here, to motivate me to pull this off. Sheets are in washing already. The boys have cleaned the bathrooms. And swept the floors. I have to still: Make the beds Change Bathroom towels Wash the Dishes Hide the Laundry Vacuum the hallway Take out the trash Disinfect Michael's room~ that should take 3 hours Pick up the living room mess Find my computer desk Sweep the stairs Clean the litter box Take Shaun to band lessons Pick Michael up after school Clean the stovetop Swish the toilets again Finish the laundry Find the kitchen counters Shine the sink Take out the trash Dust everything Eat Breakfast And maybe get a prescription for valium when the nervous breakdown finally takes over! PRAY FOR ME, FRIENDS~ I will check back and let you know what I have done! Send me telepathic energy... anything you can think of to get me through this day!

WE ARE WORKING HARD!
I couldn't do this without the help of my two wonderful hard working guys! They also got 5 school lessons complete on their own! They surprised me and had it done before I got up!
It also helps that I took 10 mg of Michael's old Adderall!
I am not hyped, just really focused and not distracted by wanting to stop and play with his drumset, or anything else. I just started in his room and worked my way down the hall. I even got curtains hung in his bedroom (He loves the fishbowl syndrome) I took MY curtains down and put them in HIS room for the weekend. I get them back Monday afternoon!
Thanks for the energy and push! I AM DOING IT!

;D ;D ;D Oh and I have to point out that you can cross off "Find the Computer" because you DID ... !! ;D Actually, I still can't find the desk top! Otherwise, everything else is almost done! Michael came home on the bus, saved me that trip. We went to Walmart and got fresh pillows and towels, and a new toiletbowl brush and cleaner! I still have to put out the fresh stuff, and clean the litter box! And TAKE A SHOWER! Ewww! I smell like a goat after all this hard work! Then, I think I will clean out the car! Boy it is nice to be organized. And the weather is beautiful today, so I can open the windows and air out the house for a few minutes! I couldn't have done it without you, and Patrick and Shaun! They have been AWESOME today! Thanks again for your energy waves! Laurie

I survived! I think it went pretty well. The house is still clean, DH cooked dinner Saturday and Sunday evenings, and helped with Sunday brunch. But I had put the food on the counter to start... asked DH to come help me cut the meat, since my wrist was pretty stiff and swollen up again. I sat with the heating pad on it much of the day. I made it to church with them this time, and apparently the place I picked passed inspection for them... they like the old traditional Roman Catholic with Latin songs! I escaped for a good part of Saturday, by taking to a high school 20 miles away to meet his girlfriend, wait and bring him home two hours later! Michael sorta finished his research paper too! I think it will only earn him a D, but it was at least ready to turn in this morning. They let DH leave for work, then Michael for school at 6:45. I stayed out of their way until 8:30. They told me they wanted to leave at 10. They were GONE when I got up, with a nice thank you note left on the table! I feel a little guilty, but we've done the same at their house. So, the house is still 80% clean, and I want to KEEP it this way forever! Cross your fingers and wish me luck! Thanks again for all the good energy you sent me!
