We are having a particularly slow day here at work and it is beautiful outside so my mind is wandering with my "cabin fever", but I was thinking....
.... wouldn't it be nice if we could have a ADHD Support Members "Convention" or smething to that nature?
Pick a place and a time for us all to get together and really meet one another face to face, cut loose and have some fun while we trade our stories, advice, and such in person?
I have come to feel so close to some of you and y'all are truly my "cyber" friends and I think we could have a blast together and put some faces with the names, ya know.
Just a thought.....

that would be so great! I only have one hinderence on the way, it´s called Atlantic ocean ;D Other wise I love the idea!

On a cold winter day, we would all convene in Miami, Florida, and take Amsmom and her beautiful son out for dinner. Then we would spend the evening roasting Dad2Brooke for all his pranks!!

Actually, it would be very cool to get together and let our child play.
And Miami would be nice! Whaddya say Amsmom, can you put us all up for a few nights?

I don't know if Amsmom could house all of us. We're a pretty big bunch! ;D Anyone have some connections at a Miami hotel?  As far as you go Marja, I would be willing to bet several people here would chip in for your plane ticket! I know I would. We'll just fly you OVER that Atlantic! |

I love this idea! It has crossed my mind a time or two also. If Miami doesn't work out, maybe Pensacola would do! Hey, and I know who I would like to get for a dinnertime speaker.

Camismom Yeh, I´ve heard that they fly over it ;D ;D ;D flying ticket is not the big deal! I love the idea. but I think that even a hotel would have problem´s to get us all a room. Marja |

I love the idea too. I am a good swimmer but I think an ocean is too big.

Hey, if we are serious about this, what do you think about a more central location? According to the map, most of us seem to be in the eastern half of the US. What do you think about Atlanta or somewhere a little farther north?
We would need to appoint a coordinator, too. Any nominations? I have to think about it more to decide whom I would nominate.
