So, based on what you know of me, what do you think I should be when/if I grow up/graduate?
I will graduate with a degree in Business with an international emphasis and a minor in Russian (hopefully).
So let's hear your ideas, including the weird, off-the-wall, and mostly teasing ones (a friend suggested international flight attendant - I'd get to go all over the place).

Seriously? How about TEACHING ESL to Russian Immigrants! It is a high demand job around here... they have to cancel classes for English as a Second Language all the time because they don't have anyone who CAN teach or speak the foreign language!
My niece, much like you, just recently graduated with a degree in Linguistics, and is on the waiting list to go to Japan to teach ENGLISH over there! While she is waiting, she is working as a security guard at Boston University. Just another one of those, I have no "real" marketable skills jobs, so I will do what it takes to pay the rent gigs!
But going abroad to teach your native language to Russians may be another highly sought after career.

That would be interesting.
I'm going to apply for an internship with the Dept. of Commerce for next summer.
*crosses her fingers*
Wish me luck.

1. I should go ahead and chop off all my hair again. It's so hard to make my long hair look professional. I ended up gelling it and sticking it back in a bun, then hairspraying it so it would semi-stay.
2. I need a coat that can be worn over suits (ie, knee-length beige trenchcoat or something like that).
3. It seemed to go well.

Linda, I liked it last time I did it, but my neck kept getting cold. I've learned to knit since then, maybe I can just use a scarf! If my brother will make my gallery work again, I'll post pictures of me with it long and with it short.
And I should know sometime in February.

Actually, looking at it from a professional point of view, I would lean more towards someone that put thier hair in a bun as apposed to a choppy short cut........unless it was like a nice bob or something, but only MAYBE shoulder length Don't cut it Alla, but if you do donate it Sorry wishy washy

Hehehehe. When I cut it, I CUT it. Shoulder-length is absolutely useless. It flies everywhere and you can't stick it in a ponytail. The pixie-style cut looks really good on me.
