Any of you ADHD grownups have trouble with gum chewing. I chew gum often and have trouble at work not chewing it. I can chew sohard my teeth and jaw hurts. My director has a REAL problem with it so I try not to chew in front of her.

I find that if I am chewing gum, I am more focused, until I swallow the gum ;D Sorta like muti tasking isn't it Or when someone taps a penil or shakes their leg. Nervous energy is being released so you can concentrate better As long as someone isn't chewing like a cow and smacking their lips

Ok now PROMISE ME you will not be offended by what I am about to say ... because it soooooo not meant to be offensive in ANY shape or FORM ... It is just that I giggled when I saw this ... but ONLY because we in the UK ALWAYS associate gum chewing with the U.S. I guess it is just one of those things that you guys (or a lot of you guys in the U.S.) do (or we THINK you do!) and we honestly just don't !! ... It is strangely pretty much non-existant here Nothing against it I hasten to add ... but strangely it is one of those things (rightly or wrongly) that we generally think of when we think of you !! So... as you can see I cannot even say anything remotely helpful here but just had to reply anyway!! ;D ;D ;D

Hey Linda...gum chewing is "very" bad for your dental work ;D (had to say it). ;D Why? It is sugarless....something I need to know? Sugarless or not it pulls against your dental work and can sooner or later pull things apart..Bobo was an imfamous gum chewer and the dentist told him to knock it off unless he liked having his dental work replaced. ;D Now Bobo sucks on mints all the time.

I had a stick of the boys Big Red this morning-----it reminded me of my high school days the minute I put it in my mouth . My favorite is Ice Breakers in the blue package.
