Prayers are easy to share.
I hope the northeast snows haven't slowed your travel any.
I also would appreciate a few prayers for my beloved aunt who was told on Friday that the lung cancer has spread to her liver, and that her time is very short.
Remember, God is gentle and comforting. Our loved ones will be safe in His arms.

Wifey's grandpa died . We had a nice visit with him, though, before he passed. We got word when we were about half way home that he was gone so we came the rest of the way home, spent the night here, and sent wifey and kids out west again this morning for the funeral. Thank you for the prayers- It sounds as though there was no big struggle and his heart simply gave out. He was a wonderful Christian man who is now enjoying eternal life!
Here is a poem I wrote about this custom harvester , which will be read at his funeral:
CUSTOM HARVEST (Written by Paul Ruppert in memory of Ed Klemme)
Etched into his headstone are bearded heads of wheat A symbol of a fruitful life that is now complete
A traveling custom harvester, a man who worked the soil Has made his final journey, and now rests from his toil
The thought of life without him at first may seem so terrible But words of comfort can be found within a gospel parable.
A farmer who went out to sow, expecting quite a yield Awoke to find that weedy tares were sharing this same field
"shall we pull them?", he was asked "this field's become polluted" "let them go ", was his reply, "lest the wheat, too, be uprooted"
"The harvesters will later burn those weeds up in the fire And then within our storage barn, a bounty we shall acquire."
The farmer mentioned is the Lord, the wheat are souls so dear The tares stand for wicked men who have no Godly fear
The field represents the world that we all know so well The barn is heaven, God's own home. The flame, of course is hell
The reapers are God's angels who harvest souls as wheat We too, shall be gathered to Him when harvest is complete.

Paul, ++++++++prayer´s+++++++ and to you and your family You´re peom was so beautifull, I ám glad it´ll be read in the funeral to honor him. I know word´s are not enough, I´am sorry for your loss. We just buried my hubby´s grandma, so I know the feeling of emptyness, and yet the feeling of hope and relief when they´ve got to their true home

Paul, my deepest sympathy to your wife and her family, and to you also. I recall when DH's Grammie died. I heard the news before DH. When I broke the news to him, I was sobbing. He looked puzzled that I was so upset about HIS Grammie. I explained, family isn't restricted to the blood line. I felt a deep sadness for the loss, I loved that woman dearly. I know that you feel deeply for Grandfather Ed, because of the compassionate tribute you wrote.
You will be in my thoughts tonight.
Take care.
