I also find that ADHDer's have a great deal of empathy for minority issues and the "underdog". I have been told that I'm too"white" to have the feelings that I do about equality and fairness. I don't know if it is because it's part of my family tradition or if it's part of the family because we are all ADHDer's. When you grow up knowing you're "different" you develope a great deal of sympathy for others who society feels are "different" for what ever reason. ;D

with my ADHD'r I find her to be very :
thoughtful
She never misses a birthday, mother's day, father's day, whatever. She knows when it's coming and plans ahead of time to save money and buy a gift. She misses NOONE!

We (my son & I ) are both ADHD/ADD and we are endlessly curious about everything.

When I read this the two things that really jumped out as being completely Bean Sprout are that he really follows his sense of what's right and wrong. His sense of ethics is very strong.
He gets outraged at injustices against others. He can't stand bigotry and intolerance. He's gotten himself in trouble with friends because he'll up for people who were getting harrassed no matter who is doing the harrassing.
He's also extremely and empathetic and can come up with the most touching and thoughtful things to do for someone. Two sides of the same coin.
