Since I am reading this hear, it doesn' tnecessarily have to do with specifics, but I read an article today that said that manufacturer's are decieving consumers by, let's see if I can put this with out confusing everyone
OK, they put the TOTAL PACKAGE NUTRIENTS one the numbers for Vitamins and minerals instead of the Per Serving, so it cuts down on the per serving numbers.
This didn't pertain to vitamins, but with Mayleng's wonder about the dosage, it made me think of it.
You reallly need to read specifically whta is what as to what you are getting, adn if there are any questions, definately write to the manufacturer.

Mayleng, I took a look at the label, and I believe this is the amount of elemental magnesium...100mg per capsule. If your son is in the 70 pound range, then 4 of these would be an appropriate therapeutic dose for him. If you do not believe he's magnesium deficient, then 2 capsules would be adequate as a maintenance dose. That's a good product, by the way. Contains no artificials or major allergens, and has high bio-availability.

Thanks Cat, when I checked out this brand, it did sound good, that's why I bought it - but was never sure how much elemental mag was in it. I am glad you confirmed it. My son is 61 lbs right now, and I gave him the test you told me about to see if he was magnesium deficient - he was not. So I will keep him on 2 capsules daily. I normally give it to him at dinnertime to hopefully help him fall asleep. Is that OK?

It sounds perfect to me. You know, in a way I was glad to discover my son was magnesium deficient. It gave me something concrete to treat!
