Have to Brag about Tara

Well, I have to brag Tara up today. She's gotten to the point that she feels under appreciated, and with so much that goes on with Mikey, I can't quite say as I blame her

Anyhow, yesterday I worked at the school store and was the "runner" to get the classes.

When I went to get Tara's class, the teacher-who was a substitute-told me that I should be proud of how contientious Tara was. ???OK, where was this going I asked.

Apparently the class took a math test, and they ALL failed it, when offered to do a retest for a better grade, out of the 30 kids in the class, Tara was the ONLY one to take the offer.

I almost have tears now because I know that she is responsible, but didn't realize how much she really cares about school work. She's always been at the top of the class so we expect no less then her ability, BUT this truly amazed me.

wow!!!! kaiti that is something huge to be proud of. you know what is cool about it? not only is she being the only responsible one, but she doesnt follow the crowd. i probably would have been too insecure to be the ONLY ONE to retake the test, even if i really wanted to. tara is going to do really, really well in life!!! nice job mom!!!

I am amazed that the offer for a retake was even made ...she is a smart one for taking the teacher up on it. You should be proud..she inherited the contientiousness from yu.

Thank you all for the compliments, I know that she easily blushes when thrown into the spot light for something that she knows she should do, so I'll be showing thins to her after we get back from the club.

Amsmom, you got it right about the not being a follower. (I think because I don't push her when things are optional, like the science fair, it let's her be able to make her own judgement)

Tara has never followed the crowd.
