So far, DS is having a much better year in 2nd grade than in 1st. I really don't know why, but I'm thrilled. His grades are better; even his handwriting is GREAT. Maybe he decided he did not want to have to go to summer school again next year! Even after having a two-week break from school because of Hurricane Ivan he is continuing to do well. (Public schools had a 4-week break; they just started back yesterday.)

His teacher is going to have a baby in December so we'll see how well he deals with the change.

GOOD NEWS........I think it may be a second grade thing. But it doesn't matter, this year is great so far!!!!!!!!!!!!
