Well, this is sorta a double inspiration for us today.
Tara has been doin Math Whizzes-timed multiplication tests. Today she finally got a 100 on it!!!!! I am so happy for her...daddy made her write her times tables up to 10 last week until she could get a 100, and she did it.
So as a surprize, I told them we were running some errands when I got done work today. I swung by the custard stand and we each got a cone. Well, since I got my truck it has been a no eating zone for kids, so they sat on the curb eating.
We were just about done and a little old lady came over to me and said she had noticed how well behaved they seemed to be. AND she said that she could tell they were taught well when they were waiting patiently in line for the cones. I told her thank you and that I appreciated her noticing.
IT MADE ME FEEL LIKE THE BEST MOM IN THE WORLD!!!!
I GUESS WE CAN GO OUT IN PUBLIC AFTER ALL.
