Our new therapist is great at getting a rise out of a child. Nate will just sit there and look at you when asked a personal question. She will say some provocative off the wall things to get a response. Even if it makes him mad. Then it opens the door to why he felt that way, and from there other questions don't seem so bad. Miles Miles that is great!!!that tells me she really knows kids

Sorry, I've been away and can't read all the messages, however, as it turns out, my son is not adhd but pretty much straight anxiety (it runs in my family). Lexapro has been a god send. He's only been on it a month and life just keeps getting better and better for him. He's still on .25 of Risperdal, but we're slowly cutting that back too. Keep your fingers crossed that this works for a while.
PS, we lost our our pdoc and it was our new pdoc that was changing diag. plus meds. Whoopie. Also, he takes Omega 3's coz I figure it's good for him regardless if it's working (and I think it does).
