*lol* For the last few years Conner has been taking his medication in Applesauce or Ketchup (adderall xr)... Well his sissy is now taking Strattera in the evenings and she just outright swallows her pill with just a drink of water... so two days ago Conner informed me that he wanted to just drink his medicine down... (He's going to be 5 this year) So I thought "What the heck...let's try it"... and sure enough, He DID It!!! Do you know how LIBERATING it feels to know we can now go ANYWHERE and not have to take a spoon and ketchup packets with us? YAHOO!!

Congratulations!
Jarrett has always swallowed his meds on his own, but I can imagine how inconvenient it would be if he didn't. I don't even buy children's Tylenol any more. When I buy a new bottle, I make a point to cut several of the pills in half right away. That way, if we're out and about, and he gets a headache (which happens a lot, as it does with me and my dad, too), I can just pull half a pill out of my purse and he'll swallow it down. It's so nice!

Anna...I know exactly how you feel...I remember the days when Paul was in elementary school and the principal would administer the meds. For a very long time she(principal) was always "fishing" the pill out of the bottom of the glass!!! ;D
