I have not consulted my physician on this point or anyone in my professional community ... is there anyone who has tried, under medical supervision, a combined therapy of a stimulant such as Adderall or Concerta, plus Strattera?

Hi Douglas
I havent tried it, but I know few people in here who use both conserta or adderal and strattera on kid´s. I hope some of them will see this and let you know more about that!

I had my DS on adderall XR and strat for about 6 months. It worked great. There are others who are still on a stim and strat. In our case we found out that he really did not need the strat, that the adderall alone worked great after taking a break from it for a while. He has been on adderall for 5 years now.

Brooke is on Strattera and Concerta.
We started the Strattera in November, and it really helped calm her down, but after about 4 months we where still seeing issues with her not being able to focus and added the Concerta in.
She is doing better now than on any other medication/combination we have tried.

Douglas, another point I wanted to make is that typically, when you add a stim to Strattera, you can usually take half the dosage of the stim, than if it was given all by itself.
When Brooke took Concerta alone, she was taking 36mgs, but in conjunction with Strattera, she only takes 18mgs of Concerta.

Can any adult male who has tried this please comment on whether or not the addition of a stimulant resulted in a reduction in Strattera's sexual side effects?
