Hi Cami'smom ... as you so rightly say just because she isn't ready yet... DOESN'T mean she never will be !! and it certainly sounds like Cami has the maturity to have accepted this!!
Plus ... If our kids don't ever get breaks away from meds then how will we or they ever be able to tell if they are ready to be without? ....
I say well done to you and Cami for this whole experiment and her subsequent acceptance of 'not being ready' ... and a really big THANKYOU for sharing it with us ....

I just received an email from the same teacher as yesterday telling me she noticed an improvement today. She has a cold and checked in late because of it, with cold meds in her system as well, but yet did better today. It is encouraging to hear that much. As far as being thanked for sharing this, hey

Mikie want's to try it without meds. He is 7 and I have told him no because the bad outweight the good at home when he goes with out meds. So i just think about if he gets overwhelmed at school or around some rowdy kids and all that. Maybe someday he can do it but I am not ready and I don't think school is ready for Mikie full force so to speak.

i'm really impressed with you and your daughter through the "no meds" trial. It ws good that you gave her the freedom to try it and even more remarkable that she was able to listen to feedback that it wasn't working. What a wise girl! Christie
