Feeling really down today...

Keep one thing in mind about Cami...some day she is going to come to you and tell you how right you were and that you were the best mom ever...then she will beg to leave the grandkids with you for awhile. I plan on telling Bud and Jared to take their kids home with them when it happens here... ;D
Kidding aside ...They dont really mean it when they say hurtful things ...it is all part of the beginning to pull away..I think it is part of life. It is also part of our life to let them. My mom always says " I thought that you were all going to grow up and leave..but you just went out and multiplied ....durn it." My dad says he shoulda raised golden retrievers..there is more money in it and less trouble.

My goodness, I was reading these replies and had so many replies to each of you I wanted to make I lost count! Let me just give a big thanks to you all! This place is truly my sanctuary!

Well, Cami left last night for her dad's weekend, but things with her are ok. I know she knows I love her, and I know she was talking in anger and it is easier to lash out at me. I just resent it sometimes because Wayne sees the best of her more so than I. But then again, I guess that's not so hard since he only sees and talks to her four days a month if that much and makes no effort to any more so than that. No pressures at dad's..no deadlines, no homework...just sleeping in, relaxing, and having fun.

As far as Andy, we started talking as soon as Cami was gone and I was able to get alot off my chest (funny though it is still big today!...LOL). I think he finally got my point on alot of things. We discussed ways to improve on my gripes and he acknowledged the truths behind most of my gripes. He also touched on his own realization of the stress I am frequently under from Cami and my mom and that he needs to be my comfort and safety zone and not take things I say or do sometimes personally. We had a good night and a good day today. Right now his head is buried in the Georgia game and I am doing my thing.

Oh, I found out he didn't spend the night on the couch though. He slept in the camper! hahaha Man ain't so dumb after all! I told him that wasn't fair though....the " Dog house" wasn't supposed to come equipped with a comfy bed and air conditioning!
