That is really interesting Skay! Is your insurance coveirng it? I wouldn't mind Cami taking it. In fact I would love to have her take it on med and off then see the results.

Marja, there's one more appt.--Thursday. This will be the long one. It's an IQ test and academic testing (I think to see where his weak and strong points are as far as auditory, visual learning, etc.) We will get the results on Sept 1. All these appts. are sort of a pain, but I'm glad they are thorough and use and consider more than one avenue.  Christy, no our insurance doesn't pay for it, and I'm not sure how much that part of the testing costs.  Sweety, that sounds just like my DS. BTW, 2 of those obvious questions I mentioned DS responded the wrong way to. He responded that he drinks 50 glasses of milk a day and that he sleeps with his school books. ;D |

Skay, sound´s like a very thorughout testing, I think that´s good, better make it well My ds has been in these test´s twice(they wantedt to see what had happened during the year) both time´s it was him alone with the psych. 6 times an hour and then we all gathered together to hear the test´s and deside what to do with them. Phew! Today was the big IQ test and academic evaluation. DS was there 2 hours (they originally told me it would be 3 though), so DD and I dropped him off and went shopping!  I'm exhausted!! DS was told he would get something at the end of the tests today. Well, I don't know what he was expecting, but he told me "all I got was this pencil." I hope he didn't act so ungrateful to the psych. She had told me that he was a hard worker, etc. etc. I hope she was sincere and not just being nice.  Now we play the waiting game until Sept. 1. |

Well, the psych called and wants to see DS one more time tomorrow. She said their first meeting about him is on Friday and she wants him to do more writing and listening things for her before the drs meet together. Then we just have one week to wait.
