 The Mommy Test
« Thread Started on Sept 16, 2005, 9:10am »

THE MOMMY TEST (this was sent to me, and I thought of you... sorry Miles, Sky, and our other wonderful Dads... this isn't meant to offend you... you guys could be Mommy's too!)

I was out walking with my 4 year old son. He picked up something off the ground and started to put it in his mouth. I took the item away from him and I asked him not to do that. "Why?" my son asked. Because it's been laying outside, you don't know where it's been, it's dirty and probably has germs" I replied. At this point, my son looked at me with total admiration and asked, "Wow! How do you know all this stuff?" "Uh," ...I was thinking quickly,"All moms know this stuff. It's on the Mommy Test. You have to know it, or they don't let you be a Mommy." We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but he was evidently pondering this new information.

"OH...I get it!" he beamed, "So if you don't pass the test, you have to be ... the daddy." ;D

"Exactly" I replied back with a big smile on my face and joy in my heart.

I use the "mommy handbook" with my kids 8-) .. When I tell them there is no lunch today.. they reply.. YOU CANT DO THAT, ITS IN THE MOMMY HANDBOOK.. I ask them to show me the page number and it stumps them everytime.. ;D
