Has anyone ever had the health department call them up on the phone to remind them about the annual pap and mammo tests? I found this really weird....but it did save time as they went ahead and filled out the paperwork over the phone...I have always had insurance until this last spring and I had to call the doc myself and set things up (which I never did) anyway now that there is no insurance they all seem to know.
I didnt tell them... how'd they do that? The state knows the kids are on Kidcare but that doesnt include me.. but this is the county health dept. Anybody have a clue how this works ..

I really don't know but I am guessing the computer 
I usually get reminders in the mail...calling on the phone for some reason to me feels invasive

M/C have you ever went to the health dept for your check-ups? If you did maybe they just pulled your records after seeing the boys are on Kidcare insurance Just a thought.
My doctors office called me last month to remind me about my yearly check-up  but they called because they had moved their office and they wanted to touch base with me so I knew where to go.

I had a mammo last year thru the hospital so maybe they bought a list of pt's from them...the last time I actually seen my gyn was when Jared was two...so i could get fixed...even then he remembered what I had called him in delivery and wasnt very nice about it all. I hate doctors almost as much as winter.
